Hole 1: Fallen Elm
Come ready to play! The front nine offers a tougher test than the back. Hole 1 might seem innocent, but don’t be deceived. The uphill approach into a small green makes par a great score. Stay to the left, don’t miss right!

Hole 2: Willow
Go for it! Whether you’re trying to clear the pond or drive the green, this elevated tee shot makes for one of the most exciting at Katchiwano.

Hole 3: White Pine
Welcome to the longest hole on the golf course. It’s all about the drive! If you’re not accurate off the tee, bogey comes into play. OB on the right, thick rough on the left. A drive to the upper fairway is not only impressive but makes birdie a definite possibility.

Hole 4: Scots Pine
You are now entering the “Katch Trap” - the toughest stretch at Katchiwano! The next four holes will make or break your round. It all starts with this long par 3. Reaching up to 210 yards from the tips. OB right, your miss is to the left. Par is a birdie on this one.

Hole 5: Ivy Corner
A Katchiwano classic! Severe dog leg to the right. Hardest approach shot on the golf course, sloping down hill into a narrow green. Playing the bank off the hill will not work, hit it high and stick it!

Hole 6: Sumac
Finally, some relief in the Katch Trap! Short par 3, big green, clear the bunker and par is in your pocket.

Hole 7: Cedar Ridge
Don’t be fooled by the picture; this hole slopes dramatically up and down creating multiple blind shots. Minimal forgiveness on the right, green in regulation is an accomplishment in itself! Tough par.

Hole 8: Juniper
Congratulations! You have made it out of the Katch Trap. Enjoy one of the prettiest holes at Katchiwano but be careful of the false front.

Hole 9: Oak Peak
Bombs away! Elevated tee, little to no danger, let ‘er rip!!

Hole 10: Fescue Fairway
Welcome to the back nine – it’s time to start racking up some pars (or better)! Open tee shot, with a big green sloping back to front. Approaches from the left are ideal.

Hole 11: Manitoba Maple
A blind tee shot makes this hole deceiving. It is longer than it looks, so consider clubbing up.

Hole 12: Spruce Grove
One of the toughest holes on the back nine. If you can clear the trees in the middle with a 270-yard drive, you’re in great shape. If not, play it safe and stay right—approaches from the left are tricky, with an elevated green and a steep slope on the right.

Hole 13: Crab Apple
The shortest hole at Katchiwano. Now’s the time to step up and join the Hole-in-One Club!

Hole 14: Ash Alley
Narrow tee shot, narrow approach, narrow green. Birdies are awarded for accuracy on this tricky par 5.

Hole 15: Buckthorn
To go for it, or not to go for it? That is the question. Driving the green is possible if you cut the corner and go over the trees. Responsible players: lay up with your 120-yard club and enjoy one of the most scenic approach shots and contoured greens on the course.

Hole 16: Poplar
Left is not your friend here. You have room on the right, so if you miss, miss right. Tip: Green slopes back-to-front and right-to-left more than it appears.

Hole 17: Emerald Queen
A beautiful short par 4 —go get that birdie! Approaches from the left side are ideal. Green is big but slippery.

Hole 18: Maple Meadows
Empty the tank! There's plenty of room out there, so give it everything you've got left and send it deep! (Just don’t miss right … OB awaits).
